Average AEO score per country across the global subset of our brand index. Most AEO tooling and AI ranking research is English-first, and the map shows it: US/UK/Canada/Australia lead, with most of the rest of the world far behind.
For US-based brands: English-language LLMs have abundant clean sources to cite, and the bar to be cited is rising fast. For brands in less mature markets: there's a head-start opportunity. Less competition for citation slots, but also less existing infrastructure to fight against. International expansion strategy should weight this directly.
Same idea as the state map, but worldwide. We pin every brand to its country and average the AEO scores from there. Countries with at least 100 scored brands get a tier color; everywhere else stays gray until we've measured enough to be confident.
