What is 8udget?

8udget is a modern personal finance management tool that helps you track expenses, create budgets, and achieve your financial goals with smart insights and analytics.

Is it free?

8udget offers a free/offline-only version that you can use on your devices with no limitations for core features but limited to 100 transactions. However, AI features (receipt scanning and bank statement import), unlimited transactions, and cloud sync require a premium subscription.

Can I start with offline mode and upgrade later?

Yes! You can start using 8udget completely offline and later upgrade to a premium account. When you're ready, simply create an account and subscribe through the settings page. All your existing offline data will be automatically transferred to your online account.

What happens when my subscription expires?

After your subscription expires, your data will still be available. You can continue to use the offline features with limited to 100 transactions and no cloud sync.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can manage your subscription through the settings page.

What payment methods are supported?

We use RevenueCat for subscription management. Web, Windows, and Linux support credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers via Stripe. iOS/macOS use Apple In-App Purchase. Android uses Google Play In-App Billing.

Can I switch between different platforms with my subscription?

Yes! Your subscription is managed through RevenueCat, which means your premium features are available across all platforms regardless of where you purchased. However, to manage your subscription (cancel, change plan, etc.), you'll need to use the platform where you originally subscribed.

Why is pricing different on mobile platforms?

Pricing on iOS/macOS (App Store) and Android (Play Store) varies by country and region due to local currency conversions and platform-specific fees. Web, Windows, and Linux subscriptions via Stripe are priced at $5.99/month or $59.99/year.
