WHO IS ALAN STEWART JR.?
How do you tell your life story in a few sentences when it feels like you've lived multiple lives? I'll give it a shot. Most people know me today as a business owner, investor, consultant, speaker, and father. But long before any of that, I was a kid trying to make sense of circumstances that felt bigger than me. I am the second youngest of nine children, raised by an incredibly hardworking mother who taught in the inner city and worked multiple jobs to keep our family together. When my father became terminally ill, everything changed. He lost his business. We lost our home. We moved in with my grandfather, and for the first time, I became painfully aware of what it meant to have limited resources. As a child, I watched my father nearly die in my arms. I didn't have the maturity to process that kind of pain. Instead, I carried it. That pain became anger. That anger became rebellion. And a lack of supervision became the perfect recipe for growing up far too fast. As the years passed, my friends left for college and new opportunities. I stayed behind. My world became smaller and smaller until it was confined to a five-square-mile radius in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Addiction took over my life. My story became one of jails, institutions, funerals, and self-destruction. I experienced more rock bottoms than I care to count. But through all of them, one realization changed everything. "The worst day of my life was the day I realized no one was coming to save me. The best day of my life was the day I realized I could save myself." That decision started a complete rebuild. One day at a time. One choice at a time. One promise kept at a time. Today, I am 14 years sober, a devoted father, entrepreneur, investor, and consultant. I've built multiple businesses, completed over 100 renovation projects, facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions, and dedicated my life to helping others create results they once believed were impossible. One of the most meaningful projects I've ever completed wasn't a business venture at all. It was buying back the home tied to much of my childhood trauma and renovating it into something beautiful. Not because it increased my net worth. But because it reminded me that your past may shape you, but it does not have to define you. That experience reinforced something I now teach every day: You can rebuild anything. Your mindset. Your relationships. Your business. Your finances. Your future. That is why I created the Rock Bottom to Revenue philosophy and the Tactical Abundance framework. Because transformation isn't about motivation. It's about structure. It's about identity. It's about becoming the person capable of creating the life you want.
