Originally established in 1970 by the Bendigo Trust, the purpose of the organisation was to restore, conserve and manage the Central Deborah Gold Mine a key heritage attraction for the City of Greater Bendigo. The Bendigo Trust now operates as Bendigo Heritage Attractions and continues to run the Central Deborah Gold Mine, while overseeing some of Bendigo’s other cherished historic attractions, including Bendigo Tramways, the Bendigo Joss House Temple, Bendigo Gasworks and Victoria Hill.
