At first I thought it was just the fries and then I realized it was also the tortilla chips, the poutine, and even my French dip sandwich was far too salty. I almost never feel like my food is too salty, but I left with my mouth feeling raw like I just ate two buckets of popcorn. Really strange choice by the chef to make food that would be really good and then just over salt it to oblivion.The bartender with the mustache was fantastic, but it seemed like the manager was being kind of openly rude to his employees and even some customers.It's just not worth the money to go back for food that is going to leave me feeling dehydrated before I feel full.Yarni Guerrero05:35 20 Feb 25I had an amazing experience at the bar, thanks to Nicole! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome with her warm and friendly attitude. She’s not only knowledgeable about the drinks but also has a great knack for reading the room and offering fantastic recommendations. Nicole's energy is contagious, and she really knows how to make every guest feel special. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and the service was top-notch. Cameron behind the bar was a homie, pouring great drinks and keeping the vibes high throughout the night. Top tier bar food came quick and was delicious. Self service soda was a nice touch too, we had a DD in the group and was happy she could keep sipping without having to approach the bar. If you have a group out on south Broadway this is a great spot to drop in, hope Cameron is manning the bar for you! The Hot Chicken Sandwich and the drinks were refreshing and delicious. The fries were nice and crispy as well. Sit and check out the rooftop upstairs. The view and the staff up there were amazing with great music playing in the background. Highly recommend this place!Danielle Johansen23:13 26 Jun 23I've got mixed feelings about this place. I've now been twice, about a year apart, and recently they have done away with table service and posted notices of increased prices. Increased prices but no table service? This most recent visit we went at about 3:30 on a Monday so there wasn't any wait to order or get our food and drinks. That's great but what happens when it gets as busy as it was when I visited on a weekend a year ago? I imagine the bar gets swamped given they have to take food and drink orders and the outgoing food is picked up at the same place. I really like the food and drinks. The Steak Arugula salad and BLT Caesar Chicken salad are both great, the fish and chips too. I haven't had a bad drink there, and we've tried just about all of them. On the other hand the high prices mean you can quickly rack up a mean bill, especially if you order an app, an entree, and a drink. Not to mention sides are not included with entrees like burgers so that's an extra cost. The employees are nice and always helpful and the rooftop dining area is great- covered with some shade and plenty of misters. I'd like to eat here again if I'm in the area but man, not sure if my wallet can handle getting myself and the folks lunch.
