Myoko is a small mountain town in the Japanese alps where life is in flow with nature during all four seasons. The inspiration for Myoko Embodied was sparked among this nature and is where it all began. Pronounced: Mi-yōkō. Definition: Exquisite beauty or charms of nature.

Is tallow good for eczema?

Yes! Tallow has shown amazing results in soothing skin ailments and reducing inflammation. In particular our OCEAN element has had great success for our customers with eczema and psoriasis.

Will tallow clog my pores?

No! Tallow is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores.

What does Myoko Embodied mean?

In ancient times, Mt Myoko was thought of as the center and beginning of everything, where creation spiraled outward from. Myoko Embodied means to embody this principal. That you are the center of the universe and everything flows from within.

Are your ingredients organic?

Yes, Myoko Embodied uses organic, grass-fed, grass-finished Australian beef tallow along with whole-food, plant-based ingredients.

I have very sensitive skin, will tallow be a good fit for me?

Absolutely. Tallow is biocompatible with human skin and is gentle enough for sensitive skin types. It supports the skin barrier without synthetic irritants.

How much do I apply?

A little goes a long way. Start with a pea-sized amount and warm it between your fingers before applying to your face or body.

How long does tallow last?

Tallow skincare products have a long shelf life when stored correctly. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
