How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment give us a call at (702)432- 3333 or email us at [email protected]. We also accept walk-ins & we do try our best to accommodate them as often as possible. As we do get busy it is highly encouraged to schedule an appointment by phone call. Upon leaving the NY Hair Girls will give you the option to re-book your appointment as it will make it easier to keep up with your beauty scheduling needs.

Should I wash my hair before going to the salon?

In short, no you do not need to wash your hair before receiving any hair service at the salon. There are some circumstances though that you should consider washing your hair one day prior to receiving your service such as an up-do or formal style in addition before braiding services.

Can I bring my kids?

At NY Hair Company, we are a family friendly salon and welcome children. If applicable, we can also schedule appointments for the same time with your child so it can be made a family affair. For long color services such as highlights, balayage or color correction that may take several hours to complete, so it may be easier to leave children at home,but as always that is up to your discretion. We do have a waiting lobby where children can feel free to hang out if you do so choose to bring them.

What if I don't know what haircut looks best on me?

Beauty is subjective and we believe that whatever haircut makes you feel the most comfortable and confident is the best haircut for you. However, in general your haircut should fit your lifestyle, your face shape, what type of hair you have and your styling routines. It is always a good idea to bring a picture of people with similar hair to your own when choosing haircuts.
