No, there is no download needed! Your congregation can access OneAccord directly in the browser on their phone or tablet, no app store, no installation, no hassle. They simply scan the QR code, choose their language, and hit play. It really is that simple.

What audio setup do I need?

The good news is, you don't need any special equipment and the setup can be completed in less than 5 minutes! If your church already has a sound desk (mixing board), you're good to go. You simply connect a laptop to your sound desk to get a clean audio feed into OneAccord, and the platform takes it from there. The better your audio quality, the more accurate the translation will be, but don't worry if your setup isn't perfect. Our team includes a dedicated sound technician who can help you get the best possible results with whatever equipment you have.

Can OneAccord replace my team of interpreters?

OneAccord is designed for churches that want to offer translation for the first time, or who have a small interpreting team and need support to be able to offer a wider range of languages or flexibility for your team. As church interpreters ourselves, we champion using human interpreters whenever this is possible. If you already have a team doing simultaneous interpreting, we would encourage you to build on this!
