What is Tangy Market?

Tangy Market is an investment app where you can invest in music royalties and receive quarterly returns in the form of royalty payouts directly to your electronic wallet in the app.

How do I start?

Download the app and create an account using your email address.Log in to your account and securely add your card details under Account > Card.Deposit funds into your electronic in-app wallet under Deposit.Go to the Marketplace and start shopping for music shares from various assets.Hold on to your share to receive quarterly payouts throughout the remaining investment period, or choose to sell your share further on the Secondary Market within the app.

What is the Marketplace?

The Marketplace is where trading happens on Tangy Market. Each asset has its own page with key details, including live pricing and market activity.Primary Market (IPO): When an asset launches, you can buy shares directly from Tangy Market at the IPO/issue price.Secondary Market: After the IPO, shares trade between users. You’ll find the Secondary Market at the bottom of the asset page.To trade, you place your buy price or sell price into the order book. If your price matches someone else’s order, the trade executes. If not, your order stays in the book until it’s matched or you cancel it.

What is the IPO price?

The IPO price is the listing price of shares when they are first made available for purchase. IPO shares are music royalty shares that you buy directly from Tangy Market at the listing price. The IPO price is set by our algorithms based valuation model that calculates the probable future revenue for the upcoming investment period, also adding headroom for a risk-adjusted return on investment.

What is the Secondary Market?

The secondary market is where users of the app can trade shares with each other. You’ll find the Secondary Market section at the bottom of each asset’s page on the Marketplace under Order Book. To buy or sell shares on the Secondary Market, simply place a bid and set your desired price. When your bid matches a seller or buyer on the market, the transaction is completed. Check the order depth to view the current bids on the market. If your bid isn’t matched, consider adjusting your price and trying again.

What are the expected returns?

Our users have, on average, seen a return of 15% average yield during the first three years the app has been running. This calculation is based on purchasing a share at the IPO price, holding it throughout the investment period, and receiving all planned royalty payouts. The payouts are based on how much the asset earned during the previous period.Remember, a diversified portfolio leads to better returns. How do I withdraw money from the app?

To withdraw money from the app, you first need to verify your identity for your account. This is in accordance with EU anti-money laundering regulations. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to use the app and make withdrawals.
