How does ear training on ToneGym work?

Each day you complete a workout of five short ear training games, each targeting a specific skill: interval recognition, chord identification, scale detection, rhythm, melody, or sight-reading. Games adapt to your level, your scores feed your performance index, and you earn coins to enter weekly contests against other members. Practice takes 10 to 15 minutes a day.

How long does it take to train your ears?

Most musicians notice real improvement within 3 to 4 weeks of consistent practice, about 10 to 15 minutes a day. Interval and chord recognition come first, then scales, progressions, and melodic memory. Ear training is a long-term skill, but ToneGym daily workouts and progress tracking keep you improving steadily for months and years.
