How do I find my world seed?

In Java Edition, type /seed in the chat. In Bedrock Edition, go to Settings > Game > Seed. The seed is a number or text string that generates your specific world.

What Y-level do diamonds spawn in Minecraft?

Diamonds spawn between Y-level -64 and 16, with the highest concentration at Y-level -59. In Minecraft 1.18 and later, the deeper you mine, the more diamonds you find. Use our Diamond Finder to get exact coordinates for your seed.
