What happens in the free 90-minute session?

We walk your existing broadcast environment — audio signal path, camera placement, lighting, and livestream output — and identify the specific gaps causing quality problems. You leave with a written diagnosis and recommended action plan. No commitment required beyond the session.

Do you work with churches that already have AV volunteers?

Yes — and it's one of our specialties. We don't replace your volunteers. We calibrate the system so their work actually sounds and looks right. We'll also train your team to operate at a higher level with the gear you already have.

Can we rent equipment without hiring JMG for production?

Absolutely. Our Gear & Go package puts Sony FX3 cameras, lenses, and tripods in your hands for $695/day. DiGiCo consoles, Teradek wireless, and lighting are all available standalone. We include a 30-minute orientation call with every rental.

Do you travel outside of Brooklyn and Queens?

Yes. We serve institutions in Brooklyn, Queens, and are available nationally for events. Travel costs are always included transparently in project proposals — no surprises.

How is JMG different from hiring a one-time AV contractor?

An AV contractor configures the system and leaves. JMG operates as your institution's production department — we diagnose the root cause, design a lasting solution, train your team, and follow up at 30, 60, and 100 days. We're not here to sell you equipment you don't need. We're here to close the gap between what happens in the room and what your audience actually experiences.

What does JMG actually cost?

The first 90 minutes are always free. After that, consulting is $125/hour. Packages range from $695/day for equipment rental to $5,800/day for full production with crew. A one-time infrastructure engagement is $3,200 flat. We publish our pricing because you shouldn't have to call just to find out if you can afford us.

When is JMG NOT the right fit?

If your institution already has a fully staffed, experienced production team and your broadcast system is performing the way you want it to, you don't need JMG. We also don't do installs-only without a diagnostic first. If you just need someone to mount a TV or run cable without understanding the system, we'll refer you to someone who specializes in that.

Should we hire an in-house AV tech or contract JMG?

A qualified in-house AV technician typically costs $45,000 to $65,000 per year in salary alone, before equipment, training, and benefits. JMG's infrastructure engagement is a one-time $3,200 with a 100-day follow-up. For institutions with weekly needs, a JMG production retainer provides the same continuity as a hire at a fraction of the cost.
