Does the Bar Examination Preparation track lead to bar eligibility?

The ability to be admitted to any state bar can vary based on many factors. Each state sets its own rules about the qualifications required to sit for the bar and ultimately be permitted to practice law. Due to the complicated nature of bar qualifications, we ask that students check with the particular state in which they are interested in taking the bar.

What is the time commitment for this program?

This program can be completed in as few as 12 months, completely online.

What are the requirements to attend the optional legal immersion experience?

The only requirement is that you have the ability to travel to and from California during the dates of the optional legal immersion experience. International students will need to obtain a tourist visa in order to participate.

Do you need to submit LSAT scores to enroll in the Northeastern Online LLM program?

Northeastern Law’s Master of Laws does not require the submission of LSAT scores for admission. However, applicants who have taken it should submit a report of their score.

Can you enroll in the Northeastern Online LLM program without a JD?

To be admissible to the LLM program, you are required to hold a first professional law degree. For international applicants, the requirement may be fulfilled by an LLB or its equivalent from an accredited or comparably recognized law school outside the United States.
