Why should I join The Ignition AI Accelerator?

Joining The Ignition AI Accelerator offers a unique opportunity to propel your growth-stage AI startup to new heights. Our program is designed to accelerate the development of the next wave of advancement in AI solutions and applications. As a participant, you will gain access to invaluable resources, expert mentorship, and a supportive community dedicated to fostering your startup’s growth and success.

When does the accelerator run?

The Ignition AI Accelerator launched on May 29, 2024, with application open for registration on a rolling basis. We will work closely with each startup onboarded with us over the course of a year, to accelerate their growth in technical developments, GTM strategies, providing business benets, mentorship and continuous development opportunities.

What is the program capacity?

In 2026, our program aims to onboard 15 of the most forward-looking, early to growth-stage AI startups, ensuring personalised attention and tailored support for each participant.

What is the eligibility criteria for startups to apply for the accelerator?

Open to global AI startups keen on expansion in AsiaIncorporated for no more than ten yearsDeveloping core AI capabilities unique to your target market with a clear technical product roadmapCurrently using NVIDIA SDKs or intending to adopt them in the next 3 months for specific technical advancements

Is the program open to startups outside of Singapore?

We welcome global startups to apply if they are keen on market expansion in Asia. It is optional for startups to fly into Singapore to participate in various in-person activities. But being physically available at key moments could generate more fruitful outcomes.

Are flights, accommodation or office space provided for the startups selected to partake in the 4-month program?

No, we do not provide flights, accommodation or dedicated office space.

Can non-English speaking startups apply for this program?

Preferably not, as participation might be challenging. The program will be conducted fully in English, including all business and VC introductions, technical mentorship sessions, and networking events hosted by Tribe. The main participating member must be able to communicate effectively in English for the program to be most beneficial.

Can a startup apply if they are already participating in another accelerator program or have previously been part of other similar programs?

Yes. In both cases, startups are welcome to apply as long as they are a good fit and have the bandwidth to manage multiple commitments effectively.
