Vinyasa Yoga Academy is located in Tapovan, near Laxman Jhula in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. It is a quiet, low-traffic area surrounded by the Himalayas, a short walk from the Ganga. We also have a campus in Bali, Indonesia.

When was Vinyasa Yoga Academy established?

Vinyasa Yoga Academy was established in 2010. Since then, we have trained over 5,000 students from more than 100 countries.

Is Vinyasa Yoga Academy registered with Yoga Alliance?

Yes. We are a Yoga Alliance USA registered school, RYS 200, RYS 300 and RYS 500. We are also ISO certified. Students can register as RYT 200 or RYT 500 after completing their course.

Which yoga teacher training courses do you offer in Rishikesh?

We offer 100-hour, 200-hour, 300-hour and 500-hour yoga teacher training courses in Rishikesh. We also offer Kundalini, Yin, Prenatal and Kids Yoga teacher training programs.

Which course is right for a complete beginner?

If you are new to yoga, the 100-hour course is the ideal starting point. If you want to teach professionally, the 200-hour course is the recommended first step.

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

Yes. Students must complete a written and practical assessment at the end of the course. Our teachers prepare you thoroughly throughout the training.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee includes tuition, accommodation, three daily sattvic meals, course materials and your certification. There are no hidden costs.
