How the check works
- Every 30 minutes we put one real buying question to ChatGPT, with no brand names in it, and record every brand it names and the pages it cites.
- Each named brand is matched to its AI visibility score on the Engagemii index, computed before the question was asked.
- Your check matches your keywords and category against those questions and shows where you were named, and where the brand ChatGPT picked scores below you.

What does the citation check show?
Engagemii asks ChatGPT a real buying question every 30 minutes, with no brand names in it, and records which brands it names. The check matches your website and keywords against those questions and shows where your brand was named, and where ChatGPT named a brand that scores lower than you on the Engagemii index.
Why does it matter that the named brand scores lower than me?
Nearly 8 in 10 brands ChatGPT names score 6 or higher on the index. When a lower-scoring brand is named for a question in your category, the gap is usually on the page: the engine found a page to cite on their site and not on yours. Those are the questions to go after first.
Is it free?

Do you show the full list of brands ChatGPT named?
No. The check shows the first brand named for each question, its score and the type of page it cited. The full ranked answer, the cited pages and the archive are part of the licensed feed.
