Adesso was developed in the USA in 2003 in response to the high rates of inefficiencies, resources and money which was being wasted in the design field for retail fit-outs and build projects. During a one year period, Adesso was used extensively for the fitting and roll-out of 400 designer stores which included Tiffany&Co., Brooks Brothers menswear and Luxotica Eye wear stores such as its Sunglass Hut brand. It successfully replaced the firm’s cumbersome system of spread-sheets, emails, word-of-mouth (and the odd beer coaster), which created enormous potential for human error. This resulted in the design company saving millions by negating errors in the entire design-to-build process, from drawings through to ordering and shipping.
