AI Visibility Scorecard
haswifi.com · Technology
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl NetSpot, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

Read about in-flight WiFi and who offers WiFi on planes, based in New Castle, DE, describes itself simply: "Learn about in flight WiFi, why WiFi on planes is not the best yet and see which companies have free in-flight WiFi." When AI engines look at it, they find little to work with. It scores 4.8 out of 10.
Our crawl found structured data on the page (SoftwareApplication, Organization, Article) and a readable heading structure. It is missing an llms.txt file and a sitemap.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.8/10, NetSpot is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
How does in-flight WiFi work?
To put it simple, there are two ways Internet signal can reach you at the height of 35,000 feet. First is using the broadband towers sending the powerful signals to the aircraft antennas (usually located on the fuselage base — the belly of a plane). As the aircraft moves, it automatically reconnects to the nearest tower on Earth.
Why is in-flight WiFi slow?
Although technology is developing at an impressive pace, it has still to catch up with the number of devices on board that are desperate to connect to the Internet.
What makes in-flight WiFi so expensive?
Naturally all the advanced technologies with such high-maintenance equipment don't come cheap, especially if you add an aircraft to the equation. Antennas also increase drag, adding fuel costs to the airline’s bill. Every little expense, including maintenance and engineering will reflect on the end customer.
