How much does Thriveworks cost?

At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state.

What are the self-pay rates at Thriveworks?

If you don’t have insurance or your plan doesn’t cover mental health services, you can use self-pay instead. Below is our self-pay breakdown by service and state. You can also find the exact self-pay rate for each clinician on their profile, and we can provide this information over the phone, too — so that you can make an informed, confident decision before scheduling with us.

What happens if my provider doesn’t feel like the right fit?

If you feel like your provider isn’t the right fit, you can reach out to our support center and they can seamlessly set you up with a new provider, no questions asked. You can also request a referral from your current provider, or browse our online booking for a provider who better suits your needs.

Can I have in-person sessions?

Yes, in-person sessions are available, depending on the provider you choose, your location, conditions or concerns, and your schedule. Thriveworks offers in-person and online options for added convenience and flexibility.

What happens if something comes up and I need to cancel an appointment?

Clients are required to reschedule or cancel their appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a late cancellation fee of $135 under the following circumstances: Cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment. Not showing up for the scheduled appointment.
