Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 6.6/10, Pico has a working base to build on - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What does Pico do?
Pico provides trading infrastructure, market data, and the Corvil packet-level analytics platform to financial institutions. Our customers include exchanges, market makers, banks, brokers, and quantitative trading firms across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
How is Pico different from a public cloud provider for low-latency trading?
Pico operates dedicated colocation in 55+ tier-1 financial data centers — the physical buildings where exchanges run their matching engines. Public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) cannot offer co-location to a matching engine. We do offer hybrid cloud architectures that bridge our colocated infrastructure with public-cloud workloads where it makes sense.
What is Corvil?
Corvil is Pico's packet-level network and trading analytics platform. It captures every packet on a 100 GbE link, computes nanosecond-resolution latency for every order, and exposes the data via REST, Splunk, and Kafka. Customers use it to investigate order rejects, prove SLAs, and optimize tick-to-trade.
Where does Pico have infrastructure?
We operate in 55+ data centers globally, including NY4 (Secaucus), CH4 (Aurora), LD4 (Slough), FR2 (Frankfurt), TY3 (Tokyo), HK3 (Hong Kong), and SG1 (Singapore). PicoNet™ — our private global trading network — interconnects all major financial venues with deterministic latency.
Does Pico support FPGA-accelerated market data?
Yes. Redline software is a high-performance enterprise software API for market data and order execution. It supports both software and FPGA-accelerated deployments depending on the latency profile required.
Is Pico a managed service or self-managed?
Both. Customers can run Pico infrastructure with their own operations team, or subscribe to managed services where Pico's 24/7 global Service Operations Center handles delivery, device management, and lifecycle.
How many exchanges does Pico connect to?
Over 900 exchange and venue products globally, including major equities, futures, options, FX, and digital-asset venues. Connectivity is delivered over PicoNet™ with sub-millisecond latency between major financial centers.
When was Pico founded?
Pico was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in New York City. The company has expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisitions including Corvil (network analytics) and Redline Trading Solutions (low-latency software).
