Poached Jobs

"Jobs available in Ohio, USA. The nation's largest job board for the restaurant & hospitality industry." That is how Poached Jobs introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 3.9 out of 10.

On the page itself the strengths are clear: a clearly stated business identity. What holds it back is credibility markers like credentials or reviews, sitemaps and entity links AI can follow, structured data describing the business, a heading structure that lays out what it offers and the technical files AI engines look for, such as llms.txt or an open robots.txt.

Away from its own site, other sites link to it. There is some, but not much, sign that the domain is only lightly established. Beyond that, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business, there is no press coverage to draw on, nobody is discussing it where AI engines look and it does not come up on Reddit. Those are earned elsewhere on the web, not fixed on the site itself.

AI crawlers have visited once in our tracking, including ClaudeBot (Anthropic). There is not much on the page to read either, about 61 words. It does link out to several social profiles, which helps engines tie the brand together.
