We've never used Elixir. Isn't that risky?

Can our Ruby/Python developers learn Elixir?

What if the migration fails or takes too long?

We use the strangler pattern — migrating service by service while your product stays live. There is no big-bang switchover. If you decide to stop after migrating 3 out of 10 services, those 3 services are already saving you money. Every step delivers standalone value.

You can. And for some companies that's the right call. That's why we start with one project — we ship a single service, you see the impact in production, and then you decide whether a full migration makes sense. If it doesn't, we'll tell you.
