What is ACM?

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) comprises of a fire-resistant core sandwiched between two aluminum sheets or other natural metal sheets such as zinc, copper, or stainless steel. Most common applications for ACM include rainscreen panels, and within curtain wall systems; however, ACM is also widely used for column covers, canopies, fins, and much more.

What is aluminum plate?

Aluminum plate is non-combustible 100% solid aluminum sheets for facade panels and other applications. Vitraplate® prefinished aluminum plate can be cut, bent, folded, rolled, or perforated without the finish cracking or crazing. Most common applications for solid aluminum plate include rainscreen panels and within curtain wall systems, such as shadow boxes, back pans, and slab edge covers.

What is coil-coating?

Coil-coating is a continuous process for applying finish on to aluminum coil. Unlike spray/post-painting, the coil-coating process gives finish consistency, durability, and flexibility. Vitranar® flexible resin coatings allow for the finish to flow and stretch as the sheets are bent, folded, or rolled, without cracking or crazing. This significantly reduces lead times, labor, and project costs.

What is continuous insulation?

Continuous insulation for building facades is an uninterrupted exterior layer that improves energy efficiency, reduces thermal bridging, and enhances moisture control. RapidWrapCI is a fully engineered wall assembly that allows you to eliminate vertical furring and standoffs. This saves vauable time, labor, and money on the full wall assembly.
