Mosquitos! Early evening and they were the worst I’d ever encountered. Even repellant wouldn’t stop them. Berto and I had gotten camp set up but the mosquitos were so bad that we couldn’t stay outside for longer than a minute before being totally bitten up. We decided that while this beautiful site was super convenient to water, had a fire pit and flat ground we just couldn’t stay there with the bugs being that bad.
