brm.us · Media & Entertainment
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl Bram.us, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

"Skip to content Bram.us A rather geeky/technical weblog, est." That is how Bram.us introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 4.6 out of 10.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.6/10, Bram.us is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
Do Websites Need to Function Exactly the Same on Every Platform?
While we’ve accepted that websites don’t need to look the same everywhere, we seem to be stuck on a new hurdle: the idea that websites need to function the same everywhere.
View Transitions: Use the new attr() or match-element for the view-transition-name?
At CSS Day, “YouTube guy” Kevin Powell showed a lot of demos that relied on the advanced attr() function. In one of the examples he used attr() to set view-transition-name values — a technique I covered in my article on advanced attr() function. But then during the Q&A, Cyd Stumpel wondered if he couldn’t just use match-element there. The short answer to that question is yes.
