Carista is a mobile App used with a Carista OBD2 Scanner that empowers drivers to diagnose dashboard warning lights, customize vehicle settings, perform essential car service, and monitor live data. It provides brand-specific, dealer-level features for supported vehicles in a simple, user-friendly package.

Can you use Carista for free?

Yes. Carista gives you free access to essential features, including reading and clearing standard OBD2 fault codes, live OBD2 data, emissions tests readiness to see whether your car is likely to pass an emissions inspection, detailed ECU information, and tools like the acceleration test. You can use these features by simply connecting your car to an OBD2 adapter. Advanced diagnostics, manufacturer-specific codes, and vehicle customizations require a paid subscription (monthly or yearly).

Can you clear codes with Carista?

Yes, you can clear fault codes with Carista. You scan your vehicle’s systems like Engine, ABS, SRS/Airbag, Transmission, TPMS, and other electronic units directly from the App. After reviewing the diagnostic results, you can clear the codes and reset warning lights. This allows you to verify repairs and monitor whether a fault returns.

What cars does Carista work on?

Carista works with a wide range of car brands and supports many models within each one. The features you can use depend on your vehicle’s make, model, and year. How does Carista work?
