When does the event start and end?

Gates open at 5:00 pm and close promptly at 9:00 pm. You will not be allowed into your dinner service until the service time you purchased tickets for (either 5:45 pm or 7:00 pm). Also, some activities may have last calls and end prior to 9:00 pm.

When should our party arrive?

Dinner @ 5:45 PM | Arrive at 5:00 pm as gates open and head straight to your dining location to enjoy dinner and then participate in the zoo lantern activities after. Dinner @ 7:00 PM | Arrive early (5:00-5:30 pm) and enjoy the zoo lantern activities before and after your dinner.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All registered guests 2 years of age and older must pay full general admission price/person. Attendees < 2 years old may attend without charge but will not be provided a Chick-fil-A meal. If you require a meal for an attendee <2 years, please purchase a ticket.

Is this an indoor event?

While most of the seated dinners are served indoors with the exception of a small amount of seating at Zambezi & the Picnic Pavilion, this is an outdoor event. The Zoo Lantern Festival is a fun and festive walking holiday luminated lantern interactive experience around the zoo. Dress accordingly.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available at no additional cost in zoo parking lots. Zoo trams will be running between attractions and dining locations during the event.

Can my child attend without a parent?

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs+).

What can I bring into the event?

No outside food or beverages are allowed. Strollers are allowed.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
