Choffy Brewed Cacao is brewed in all of the same ways that you would brew coffee or steep a tea. To make hot chocolate there are quite a few processes that cacao must undergo to become water soluble, of which dutching and alkalizing are part of those processes. Those processes destroy a lot of the healthy benefits that are in cacao. Cacao by nature is not water soluble. Choffy Brewed Cacao is made from 100% cacao that we roast and grind in the most respectful way possible. Choffy Brewed Cacao is not dutched or alkalized. We add nothing to, or take away anything from our cacao, making it a pure, healthy brewed cacao beverage with all of the benefits that brewed cacao has to offer.
