Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl ClumpScope, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

from our crawl and measurement
ClumpScope describes itself simply: "Help astronomers find star-forming clumps in Euclid Hα emission-line maps." When AI engines look at it, they find little to work with. It scores 3.7 out of 10.
Our crawl found a readable heading structure. It is missing structured data describing the business, an llms.txt file and a sitemap.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 3.7/10, ClumpScope is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
Why star-forming clumps?
Galaxies at earlier cosmic times looked different from the smooth spirals around us today. Many were gas-rich and lumpy, forming their stars in a handful of giant clumps rather than evenly across a disk. These star-forming clumps can be a thousand times more massive than typical star-forming regions in the Milky Way, and together they can supply a large fraction of a galaxy's new stars.
How to classify — a quick tutorial?
Step 1 — Find the galaxy. Flip to the last two greyscale frames (VIS and NISP-Y) to see where the galaxy sits, then come back to the Hα frame. Real clumps sit on the galaxy, so knowing where it is makes everything easier. The VIS blend slider fades the starlight image in underneath the Hα map if you want to see both at once. Step 2 — Circle every clump.
