How does it integrate with my code?

Codectopus connects to your GitHub repositories via a secure GitHub App. No local setup or manual uploads are required.

Do you store my code?

No. Codectopus only reads repository content through GitHub's API. We don't store your source code — only analysis results and metadata are saved.

What languages are supported?

We currently support JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, Ruby, and PHP, with more languages being added regularly based on community feedback.

How accurate is the AI review?

AI reviews highlight potential issues, missing tests, and documentation gaps. They're not meant to replace code review by humans but to save time by surfacing common problems early.

Can Codectopus analyze pull requests (PRs)?

Yes. Codectopus automatically reviews changed files in your PRs and posts structured feedback directly in GitHub.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Codectopus offers a 2-month free trial that requires a credit card. The trial automatically includes the first 2 months of your chosen discounted plan, so you get full access to all features without any upfront payment.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

You will still keep access to your data, but new analyses, reviews, documentation, and ongoing AI reviews will be paused until you upgrade or free up capacity.
