What do I need to convene a discussion?

The only key ingredient is a good question to ask. In addition, you may want to consider the following options: To make the discussion more focused, you can refer to a document, online or in pdf. To produce a joint document, you can upload a draft of the text you want to discuss. If you want to restrict participant, you can upload either a list of email domains or a list of emails of the participants.

How will comCensus ensure the anonymity of participants?

By not collecting identifying data in the first place. Our system is designed to make it impossible even for comCensus staff to tell who said what, or to retrieve the emails of participants.

Am I giving away the personal data of participants, when I set up a question?

No. In particular, their emails are not saved in our system in a retrievable form - so, no one can steal them. Participants can voluntarily share their emails with us to get notifications, but that is their choice.
