What is your Service Level Agreement/ turnaround time?

Being a digital based firm means we’re able to reduce the typical SLA time. However, turnaround times vary and will depend on the type, complexity, volume of instructions and urgency of your matter. Our typical turnaround time on a bill of costs is around 2 weeks.

How much are Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsman fees?

At ARC Costs, we generally prefer to charge our fees on an hourly rate (capped on recovery dependant on if we are instructed to negotiate also) or fixed fee basis. Proportionate charges will be discussed with you before we take on your case. Costs Lawyer and Costs Draftsman fees will also depend on the type and complexity of the case, as well as the urgency of the matter, timescales and level of the fee earner.

Are Costs Draftsmen and Costs Lawyers Regulated?

Costs Draftsmen are not directly regulated by a governing body. This means that anyone can technically call themselves a costs draftsman, regardless of qualifications or experience. However, at ARC Costs, we take regulation and professional standards seriously.
