Who is the app for?

For anyone who wants to count anything — whether alone or together with friends, family, colleagues, and more. Popular use cases include tracking workouts, daily habits, or wellness goals, counting attendees at workshops, conferences, or community events, keeping an overview of items in stock, supplies used, or resources distributed, and using it as a scoreboard for board games, quiz nights, or friendly competitions.

Can multiple users work on a counter at the same time?

Yes, CountTogether is designed so that multiple users can work on a counter simultaneously. Every change is transmitted and displayed in real time to every user who has joined the counter.

What happens if I need to switch my device?

Since the credentials generated in the background when you first set up the app with your username are stored on your device, you are initially tied to that device. However, you can migrate your account in the settings by adding an email address and password, which then allows you to sign in on different devices.

Why is there a Pro version?

Because this is not a simple counter app where everything is stored on your device. There is a fairly extensive infrastructure with servers running in the background. The Pro version offers you additional benefits and allows CountTogether to sustain itself financially.

Is my data secure?

Yes, your data is secure. CountTogether uses modern encryption and hashing technologies and is securely hosted in the EU (Germany) in compliance with all applicable regulations (GDPR).

Can iOS and Android users collaborate?

Yes, the app is available for both iOS and Android. iOS users can join Android counters and vice versa.

What happens if I no longer want the app and want all my data deleted?

In the app settings, you can have all your data deleted. However, this step is irreversible and the data will be gone forever.
