Is there a trial period?

Creative Forces Therapy maintains a trial period of 2 - 6 weeks. During this time we evaluate the compatibility of the therapeutic relationship, the fit of the type of therapy we provide as well as the ability for the client to attend the session.

Can the parent join in a session with my kid/teen?

Yes. However, we encourage each parent that asks this to speak with the therapist because each therapist is different in how they navigate a parent inside a session.

What does a recreational therapy session look like?

In a typical recreational therapy session, the participant will be offered different play - based and recreational activities to choose from to engage with 1:1 with the therapist. We utilize play to encourage feelings of safety and regulation, and also to help build upon their skills.
