SelfDecode is a business whose own site puts it this way: "SelfDecode helps you uncover your genetic predispositions and provides personalized DNA-based health insights, diet, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations." To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity it is partially visible, scoring 6.8 out of 10, readable in places and missing in others.

On the page itself the strengths are clear: a clear heading structure and sitemaps and entity links AI can follow. It is passable on some structured data, a partly stated business identity and a few credibility markers. What holds it back is the technical files AI engines look for, such as llms.txt or an open robots.txt.

Away from its own site, other sites link to it, the domain reads as established and it comes up on Reddit. There is some, but not much, sign that press coverage is thin and there is little discussion of it. Beyond that, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business.
