1. What is DurerPoth?

DurerPoth is an online platform where riders can post planned rides and users can book seats to share travel costs. It is designed as a carpool / cost-sharing ride posting classifieds, not as an instant taxi or on-demand ride-hailing service.

2. Are you a ride-sharing or transport company?

No. DurerPoth does not own vehicles or transport passengers itself. We only provide the technology and tools for people to find each other and agree on shared trips. Each trip is a private arrangement between the rider and users.

3. How do payments work?

Users may add funds to their wallet and pay for rides from that balance. After a ride is completed, the rider’s wallet balance is updated, and the rider can withdraw funds to supported payment methods. A platform maintenance / withdrawal fee may be deducted when riders withdraw funds. This fee is displayed in the app/website and is used to support platform and payment infrastructure.

4. Do you check licences or vehicle documents?

For safety, we may request certain information or documents, but the final responsibility for valid licences, registration, insurance, and lawful use of the vehicle lies with the rider.

5. Do I need a BRTA or other licence to use DurerPoth?

Licensing requirements depend on how you use your vehicle and how applicable laws are interpreted by regulators. DurerPoth is not a government authority and cannot give binding opinions on whether a specific licence is required. If you are unsure, you should contact BRTA or a qualified lawyer and make sure you comply with all legal requirements before using the platform.
