Do I need to schedule a session in advance?

No. Open the app, press "Call English Expert," and you're speaking. Available 7 AM to midnight, every day.

What happens during a session?

Your expert leads a natural conversation tailored to your goals. They correct your mistakes in real time — naturally and supportively. During the call, you get real-time feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. After the session, you receive a full recording (available for 30 days), expert feedback, and practice assignments.

What if I freeze and can't speak?

No big deal — it's completely normal. Your expert is trained to help you express yourself. They'll guide you with prompts, simplify the conversation, and help you find your words. There's zero judgement. Every learner starts somewhere.

Will I get the same expert every time?

The system connects you with a different expert each time — and that's intentional. In the real world, you speak with different people, not just one person you're comfortable with. This builds genuine confidence. But every expert is briefed on your goals, so they pick up right where you need them to.

How is this different from practicing with a friend?

A friend can't tell you where your grammar is wrong, correct your pronunciation, or give structured feedback. Our certified trainers can. Plus, your friend has their own life — are they available when you need them, every day, 7 AM to midnight? Consistency is what builds real progress.

How much does it cost after the trial?

It depends on the session duration and how many days you want to practice. Plans start at ₹2,700 for 25 sessions (India) or $45 for 25 sessions (international). You can check the plan based on your need inside the app under Plans & Pricing.

Is EngVarta suitable for children?

Yes. Children aged 7-14 can learn on EngVarta under their parents' guidance. Our experts are trained to engage young learners with warmth, patience, and age-appropriate topics.

Is my identity safe?

Completely. Your expert only sees your username. Your real name, phone number, and identity are never shared. All sessions are audio-only — no video.
