"File your FMCSA MCS-150 biennial update online. Same-day FMCSA submission, $150 standard or $350 lifetime updates that cover every future filing." That is how Fast MCS-150 Filing of Fort Myers, FL introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 2.8 out of 10.
On the page itself the strengths are clear: structured data describing the business, a clear heading structure, a clearly stated business identity, crawler access and the files AI engines look for and sitemaps and entity links AI can follow. What holds it back is credibility markers like credentials or reviews.
Away from its own site, other sites link to it. Beyond that, the domain does not yet read as established, AI engines do not yet recognise it as a distinct business, there is no press coverage to draw on, nobody is discussing it where AI engines look and it does not come up on Reddit. Those are earned elsewhere on the web, not fixed on the site itself.
The site links to no social profiles, so there is nothing tying the brand to a wider presence.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) can read your site and name it in answers. At 2.8/10, Fast MCS-150 Filing is near-invisible to AI engines today. That is fixable, and the signals above are where to start.
What is MCS-150?
The MCS-150 is the FMCSA's Motor Carrier Identification Report - the official federal form every USDOT-registered carrier files every two years to keep operating authority active. It captures business address, fleet size, driver counts, mileage, and hazmat status on the FMCSA's SAFER system.
Who needs to file MCS-150?
Every FMCSA-registered motor carrier, freight broker, and freight forwarder with an active USDOT number must file MCS-150 - interstate and intrastate alike. The requirement is set by 49 CFR Part 390 and applies regardless of fleet size, even to single-truck owner-operators.
How much does MCS-150 cost?
The FMCSA charges no fee to file MCS-150 - it is free to file directly at fmcsa.dot.gov. FastMCS150 charges $150 to prepare and submit a single filing professionally the same business day, or $350 once for lifetime updates that cover every future biennial filing for the carrier. An additional $25 applies only if Login.gov or PIN recovery help is required.
When is MCS-150 due?
The MCS-150 due month is set by the last digit of your USDOT number (1=Jan, 2=Feb, … 0=Oct). Even next-to-last digits file in even years; odd next-to-last digits file in odd years. The full two-year cycle repeats automatically - fleet or address changes trigger an out-of-cycle filing.
What happens if you miss the MCS-150 deadline?
The FMCSA deactivates the USDOT number roughly 30 days after the deadline - the SAFER record flips to INACTIVE and brokers, shippers, and load boards stop clearing loads. The missed filing also carries civil penalties of up to $1,000 per day, not to exceed $10,000.Questions

ChatGPT doesn't crawl the web like Google does. When someone asks Claude about the best project management tools, the model isn't searching your website in real-time. It's pulling from training data that stopped months or years ago.
