AI Visibility Scorecard
Borderline visible. AI bots can crawl FaviconAPI, but the structured-data signals are thin - you are at real risk of being skipped when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

from our crawl and measurement
"Get the highest resolution favicon for any domain - or look up a service icon by name. Favicons are resolved from an HTML scraper and ten upstream providers: Google, DuckDuckGo, Yandex." That is how FaviconAPI Get the highest resolution favicon for any domain introduces itself. To AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, though, it is barely visible: it scores 4.3 out of 10.
Our crawl found structured data on the page (WebApplication) and a sitemap. It is missing an llms.txt file and a heading structure that lays out what it offers.

Your AEO score measures whether AI search engines - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - can actually read your site and cite it in answers. Roughly two-thirds of sites are invisible to them. At 4.3/10, FaviconAPI is crawlable but under-signaled - fixable, and the signals above are where to start.

Why FaviconAPI?
× FaviconAPI started out of a very practical need. While building my own dashboards with Mafl+ (R0GGER/maflplus), I wanted a hassle-free way to fetch favicons and logos and link them to the services on my dashboard - without manually downloading and hosting an image for every single tile. In practice that turned out to be surprisingly painful.
