Can I download music without customizing it?

Yes, absolutely. Our Premiere Pro Extension & Web App are just one way of using Filmstro, but if you just want to download ready-made royalty free music for your projects, that’s totally fine!

Is there a full free trial?

Yes. And no payment details required. You can access Filmstro and start browsing, downloading and editing music right away. You don’t even need to sign up to try the App. You do need to sign up to download the Premiere Pro Extension though! Some features, like saving your session and downloading preview tracks, require a valid email address to sign up for a free account.

When do I need the PRO license?

If you want to use our music for commercial work or on behalf of clients you’ll need a Pro license.

When do I need the Enterprise license?

If your project is destined for TV, Radio, VOD or streaming then you need an Enterprise license. You also need a Enterprise license if you would like a custom music commission from us.

How do I prevent copyright claims on my YouTube videos?

When you purchase a Filmstro Annual plan at the PRO, or ENTERPRISE level, you can register your Youtube channel so any claims are automatically released (for ever – even after you cancel!). If you have a PRO or ENTERPRISE plan then you can also register your client videos so they are cleared. When you sign up for Filmstro you will automatically be invited to register your YouTube channel(s) with us. Can I remove copyright claims with a Creator plan?

If you purchased a YouTuber plan (now called Creator) or a MONTHLY subscription of any kind, then you are not eligible to have your channel(s) whitelisted. But don’t worry. You can still have all copyright claims automatically released by adding a special ‘keyword license’ into the YouTube videos’ description prior to publishing it – which will automatically remove any copyright claims. You will receive an email with all the details during onboarding.

How do I request music from you?

If you have an ENTERPRISE license then we can create a brief for our composers based on your unique needs. We aim to turn custom commissions around within 30 days and add new music – that you ask for – to our library within that timeframe, at no additional cost!

What happens to the videos after my subscription ends?

They remain cleared worldwide and for ever. Nothing to worry about as long as you had the correct license at the time of creating the content.
