Is this curriculum charter-school approved?

The courses are designed to produce standards-aligned work samples, graded assessments, and structured progression that most California charter programs require. Approval depends on your specific charter provider — we're happy to provide curriculum documentation to your EF upon request.

Do we have to print everything?

Yes — and that's intentional. Research consistently shows that students retain math better when they work problems by hand.

How does grading work for self-paced students?

Parents hold the answer keys for notes, homework, and review. Spiral review and quiz submissions are handled on the website with automatic score tracking. Quizzes and unit tests do not have keys distributed to students — parents may request manual review.

What if my student falls behind or needs to move faster?

The recommended pacing guide is exactly that — a guide. Self-paced students can move through material at their own speed within the access window. If your family needs more structure or personalized feedback, the Live Instruction add-on is designed for that.

Do parents need a math background to support their student?
