Who can join FounderLink?

We're looking for founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are actively building companies and serious about growth. Whether you're pre-revenue or doing $10M+ annually, you belong here. We welcome founders from all industries. We look for people who value community over competition, believe in action over endless theory, and want to both learn from and support other founders.

Is there a membership fee?

No. FounderLink membership is completely free. Our Founders Dinners have a ticket cost (typically around $150 USD) to cover venue, food, and experience, but the core community—Slack access, coaching calls, expert sessions, resources, and connections—costs nothing. We believe every founder deserves access to a support system, regardless of revenue stage.

How much time do I need to commit?

As much or as little as you want. FounderLink is designed to fit your busy schedule. Minimum participation: pop into Slack when you have questions or want to share wins. If you want more: join monthly coaching calls, attend expert sessions, participate in BD Power Hours, and apply for Founders Dinners. Take what serves you, skip what doesn't.

What if I'm just starting out or pre-revenue?

Perfect. Some of our most active members are early-stage founders. About 25% of the community is new to the journey. Benefits include learning from experienced founders, avoiding costly mistakes, building relationships with mentors and partners, accessing resources and templates, and finding accountability partners. The earlier you join, the faster you'll navigate challenges.

How is this different from other founder communities?

Unlike Hampton or Founders Forum, we welcome founders at all stages and are free instead of $8K+/year. Unlike YPO/EO, there are no revenue requirements or lengthy applications. Unlike Facebook groups, we offer curated membership, expert coaching, and accountability. Unlike industry-specific groups, we offer cross-industry insights. Unlike local meetups, we are global with online and offline components. We combine free accessibility with mastermind-level quality.

What happens after I apply?

We review applications quickly (usually within 48 hours) and look for alignment with our values. If accepted, you get immediate Slack access, event invitations, and a welcome guide. If not, we’ll be honest and may suggest other resources or communities. Our goal is to keep the community tight-knit and valuable.

Can I promote my business in the community?

Yes, but thoughtfully. We have specific channels for promotion and feedback. Good sharing includes asking for feedback, celebrating wins, and supporting others. What doesn't work: spamming, drive-by pitching, or using the group purely as a lead generator. The vibe is community over competition—help others win and they'll help you win too.

Do I have to attend events in person?

Not at all. While Founders Dinners are great, the core value comes from daily community interactions and virtual events. All coaching calls, expert sessions, and workshops are online and recorded. In-person events are a bonus, but many active members have never attended one and still get full value.
