Do I need an air compressor, or can I use my existing shop air?

It depends on the system size and what compressed air you already have. Nitrogen and oxygen generators run on compressed air, so every system needs an air supply. Smaller systems can often run on a customer's existing shop air if there is spare capacity. Larger systems and higher-purity builds typically require a dedicated compressor sized for the load. We supply the compressor as part of the package when that is the right call, or we design the system around your existing air when it is not. Each quote is sized to your flow, purity, and existing air capacity.

What does Gas Generation Solutions actually do?

We design, supply, and support on-site nitrogen and oxygen generation systems for industrial customers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Each system replaces delivered gas with a continuous on-site supply, usually at up to 90% lower cost, with payback in 12 to 14 months and a 20+ year service life. How long does it take to get a system installed and running?

Standard systems ship in a few weeks. Larger and custom-engineered systems take longer. Exact lead time and an installation timeline are provided with your quote, based on your flow, purity, pressure, and site conditions.

What nitrogen purity levels can you provide?

Nitrogen purity is available from 95% up to 99.9995%, depending on the application. Most industrial applications run between 99.5% and 99.99%. Higher purity systems are used for applications like selective soldering and semiconductor processes. Food and beverage applications typically cap at 99.9%.

Is on-site generation better than delivered or liquid nitrogen?

In most cases, yes. On-site generation eliminates delivery costs, tank rental, and supply interruptions, and it produces nitrogen at a predictable operating cost for 20 years or more. It also removes dependency on outside suppliers and the risk of delivery gaps. Delivered or liquid nitrogen still makes sense for very low or intermittent demand — we help you work out which side of that line you fall on.

Are your systems standard packages or custom-built?

Every system is built to order based on your flow, purity, pressure, and application. We work from a mature family of generator models, which keeps lead times reasonable, and we size, configure, and integrate each build around your specific site requirements. This ensures the system is properly sized, optimized for operating cost, and matched to the equipment it feeds.
