Is GameChanger free to download?

Yes. The GameChanger app is free to download. All GameChanger features are completely free for Coaches and Staff to use for their team. For families who want more, additional features for Parents/Guardians, Family Members, and Fans—like unlimited baseball and softball live stream viewing, highlight clips, and box scores—are available with a monthly or annual subscription starting as low as $3.33/month.

Can I watch a live stream for free?

Yes. All users can watch up to five baseball or softball live streams for free. After that, upgrading to Plus, Premium, Family Plan, or Team Pass provides continued access to live streams. Unlimited live stream viewing of other sports like basketball, volleyball, and soccer remains completely free.

Who can start a live stream on GameChanger?

Confirmed family members and players can broadcast games live in all sports by default. Team staff can also designate specific community members as videographers by updating Team Permissions from the Team tab.

Who can watch a live streamed game?

The videographer can choose who can watch the live stream. Options include limiting access to family members and players, or expanding access to include team fans along with family members and players.

How do I follow a team?

You can search for and follow a team in the GameChanger app or on the web. Search by team name, select the correct team, tap Follow Team, and choose your role. If you are joining as anything other than a Team Follower, a Staff member must approve your request. You can also be invited directly by a Staff member via email or push notification.

How do I watch a live stream game?

In the app: You will receive a push notification when a team you follow goes live. You can also find active streams from the Home tab, your team's Schedule tab, or the Video tab. On the web: Log into web.gc.com, select your team, and the live stream will appear on the team's home page if active. On your TV: You can mirror or cast from your phone, connect via HDMI, or use your TV's browser to access web.gc.com. Note: Coaches and Staff control who can view live streams, and some may be restricted to confirmed Family Members and Players.
