Dex offers two plans. Premium starts at $12/month (annual billing) and includes LinkedIn sync up to 2,500 connections, mobile/web/desktop/extension access, and all core integrations. Professional starts at $20/month (annual) and adds LinkedIn sync up to 9,000 connections, mail merge, API access, Zapier, and priority support. Both plans include a 7-day free trial.
Does Dex have an API or MCP server?
Yes. The REST API is at https://api.prod.getdex.com with the OpenAPI spec at https://getdex.com/openapi.json. Dex also operates an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://mcp.getdex.com/mcp that exposes contacts, notes, reminders, tags, groups, and custom fields as 38 agent-callable tools. Authentication is via OAuth 2.0 (browser) or bearer API key. API and MCP access require a Dex Professional subscription.
Can I import contacts from LinkedIn, Gmail, WhatsApp, and other sources?
Yes. Dex imports from LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Calendar, WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook, Instagram, Outlook, phone contacts, and CSV files (including Airtable, Notion, Google Contacts exports). See the integrations overview at https://getdex.com/integrations.
Is my data private?
Dex is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest with AES-256. Servers are hosted in the US. Dex is funded by subscriptions, never by ads — your data is never sold or shared. You can export or delete all your data at any time.
Is Dex available on mobile?
Yes. Dex has native apps for iOS (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dex-personal-crm/id1472132715) and Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.danahq.getdex), plus a web app, desktop apps for macOS and Windows, and a Chrome extension.
