Will my regular SIM and phone number stay active?

Yes. GetSim eSIMs run on a second profile, side-by-side with your home SIM. Calls and SMS to your real number keep arriving. Virtual numbers are separate from your real line. They never replace it.

Which devices support eSIM?

Most phones released after 2018 support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer (iPhone 14+ in the US is eSIM-only), Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Before checkout, the country page links to a current compatibility list.

How fast does an eSIM activate?

Once you scan the QR code (or one-tap install in our app), data is usable within 1–3 minutes on most networks. You can install the eSIM before you fly and switch it on when you land.

How long do I have to receive an SMS on a virtual number?

Single-use verification numbers stay open for the entire activation window (typically 10–20 minutes). Rentable numbers stay yours for the period you paid for: anywhere from 4 hours to 30 days, with monthly options for long-term use.

What happens if a virtual number does not receive the SMS?

Single-use verification orders are automatically refunded to your wallet if no SMS arrives within the activation window. You can immediately try a different country or service with the refunded balance.

Can I top up an eSIM after the data runs out?

Yes. Most plans support top-up directly from the dashboard or app, no need to install a new eSIM. Some legacy plans require a fresh package; the country page tells you which type you are buying.

Do you offer refunds?

Unused eSIM plans (no data consumed) are refundable. Numbers that fail to deliver an SMS are auto-refunded. See the Refund Policy for the full conditions.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major cryptocurrencies. All payments run through PCI-DSS Level 1 providers. We never see your card numbers.
