Which Git platforms do you support?

Git AutoReview supports GitHub (Cloud & Enterprise), GitLab (Cloud & Self-Managed), and Bitbucket (Cloud, Server, Data Center).

Is my code sent to your servers?

No. Your code is sent directly to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI). We never store or process your code. Only usage metrics are tracked for billing.

Which AI models do you support?

We support Claude (Anthropic): Opus 4.8, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5; Gemini (Google): 3.5 Flash (default), 3.1 Pro, 3 Flash, 3.1 Flash Lite, 2.5 Pro, 2.5 Flash; OpenAI: GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, GPT-5.4 mini, o3, o4-mini. You can run multiple models in parallel and compare results.

How is this different from CodeRabbit?

Four main differences: you approve every comment before it's published (CodeRabbit auto-publishes), you run Claude, Gemini, and GPT in parallel instead of one model, we support Bitbucket Cloud, Server, and Data Center natively in VS Code (CodeRabbit covers Cloud and DC via cloud webhook — no Server, no IDE-native flow). On pricing: our subscription is $14.99/mo flat for the whole team vs $24/user/mo. What happens if AI makes a mistake?

Every AI comment is a draft. You review, approve, reject, or edit before anything gets published to your Git platform. Nothing goes out without your say-so.

Do I need my own API key to run reviews?

Yes — Git AutoReview is a thin layer, not a black box. Your code goes straight from VS Code to Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI under your account. We never see it, store it, or train on it. You pay AI providers at their direct rate (usually $2–5/mo for a working dev). The trade-off: two minutes to paste a key on first install. If you already have Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, those work too — no separate key needed. If bundled compute is what you need, CodeRabbit and Copilot handle that.

Does Git AutoReview scan for security vulnerabilities?

Yes. Every PR is scanned with 20+ built-in security rules (hardcoded secrets, SQL injection, XSS, console.log in production, CORS wildcards, empty catch blocks, and more) plus an AI security pass that catches logic-level vulnerabilities like auth bypasses, SSRF, and URL injection.
