What is the GMAT Focus Edition?

The GMAT Focus Edition is the latest version of the GMAT exam, introduced by GMAC in 2023. It is shorter, more streamlined, and more business-focused than the previous version. The test duration is just under 2 hours 15 minutes, and it places greater emphasis on critical thinking, data literacy, and decision-making - key skills for your B-school journey.

How many months do I need to crack the GMAT?

What is considered a ‘good’ GMAT score?

Can I take the GMAT online? Additionally, how often can I take the exam?

You can take the GMAT Focus Edition either at a test center or online. The online version has the same format and scoring, though some schools may show preference for the test center version of the exam over the online format. You can take the GMAT once every 16 days, up to 5 times in a 12-month period. Always plan your retakes strategically, based on readiness and application timelines.

How long are GMAT scores valid?

Your GMAT scores are valid for 5 years from the test date. You can also view your entire score history for the past 10 years, though only valid scores can be used in applications.
