How does the process work?

What happens if USCIS denies my petition?

We refund our fee in full. Our insurance partner covers the full non-refundable U.S. government filing fee. You walk away made whole, without the second bill traditional firms leave behind.

How long does it take to file?

From your strategy call to a filing-ready petition, three weeks. The industry standard is four to six months. Our software does in days what most firms still do by hand. USCIS review time after filing is separate and outside any firm's control.

Do I have to be a founder?

No. We file for founders, executives, and operators with recognition or a trajectory that supports the category. The strategy call is the same forty minutes either way, and the right answer might be a different category than you assumed.

Can a founder self-petition?

For green cards, yes: EB-1A and EB-2 NIW both allow self-petition with no employer sponsor. For non-immigrant visas (O-1, E-2, L-1), a U.S. entity must sponsor you, but that entity can be a company you control.

Can I work with Jumpstart from outside the U.S.?

Yes. Our clients are based worldwide. The entire petition process is handled remotely. Consular interviews happen at U.S. embassies in your home country once the petition is approved.

What if USCIS sends a Request for Evidence?

Our methodology flags weak points before adjudicators do, which keeps our RFE rate well below market. If USCIS does send one, we respond on a timeline we set with you in advance, at no additional fee.

How is Jumpstart different from a traditional firm?

Traditional firms write petitions to a template. We trained our methodology directly on USCIS adjudicator decisions and write your case to the person who actually reads it. We also refund our fee and insure the government filing fee if the case is denied, which traditional firms do not do.
