How does Hermetic Technology work?

Hermetic technology works by creating a controlled atmosphere within the stored commodities. This reduces the oxygen levels inside the bag or container, limiting the growth of insects, mold, and bacteria.

How long can I store commodities in hermetic storage?

Hermetic storage can significantly extend the shelf life of dry commodities by preventing moisture absorption, insect infestation, and mold growth. Depending on the type of commodity, its moisture content, and storage conditions, properly dried commodities can be safely stored for months to a year or more.

What moisture level should commodities have before hermetic storage?

To ensure safe storage and prevent mold growth, dry commodities should generally have a moisture content of 12% or lower before being sealed in hermetic solutions.
